ACOMA Music Theory & History Textbooks for RCM Examinations Exams
We are proud to announce that four RCMusic National Gold Medal theory winners, used the Acoma Theory textbook series by Peter and Lynn Ware. They all had a grade average between 95 and 96 on all theory exams required for their ARCT Diploma excluding Leve L8 theory exam. The RCMusic National Gold Medal in Theory is awarded to the student with the highest-grade point average for theory exams across Canada when receiving their ARCT Diploma. Our theory textbooks offer a unified approach to learning, aided by a consistency of materials as they progress through the levels of theory. This makes it much easier for them to complete the advanced courses and if they desire. It gives them the ability to concentrate on the creative and artistic parts of the exam. Acoma's textbooks are used exclusively at the Ware Academy of Music.
